Counselor Intern
Clayton Goldberg has been employed by Extended Aftercare, Inc. since October of 2008, first as the Admissions Coordinator the a Practicum Student and now as a Counselor Intern. Clayton has served the recovery community through non-profit organization positions such as: Chairman of the Texas Youth Advocates for Legislative Change, Boys to Men Texas committee member, member of The ManKind Project Houston, and several positions on the Extended Aftercare Alumni Association Board. After graduating from Lamar High School in Houston, Clayton attended the University of North Texas and is now enrolled in the Institute of Chemical Dependency Studies.
Clayton has training with guided imagery meditation which he incorporates into his Chemical Dependency Education groups at Extended Aftercare, Inc. Massage Therapy is another tool that Clayton intends on acquiring in the near future to better serve the clients and expand the services offered at Extended Aftercare, Inc.
